Specified illness cover offers protection from these costs by providing a lump sum payment.
The lump sum is paid out if you or one of your children are diagnosed and certified as suffering from a specified illness, as defined in the policy.

INCOME PROTECTION

An income protection insurance policy pays out a regular cash payment to replace part of your lost income (usually 75%) if you have a long-term illness or disability and you are unable to work.

It will continue to make payments to you weekly/monthly until you are fit to work again or until you are 60/65 years of age depending on which term you choose.
